Hats Off Gentlemen Its Adequate (14 July 2018)

Saturday 14 July 2018 at 2 pm

Internationally acclaimed rock band Hats Off Gentlemen It's Adequate present an event open to all, but particularly aimed at those who wish to bring along children. They will be playing their critically acclaimed music, plus cover versions of songs relating to childhood, but the volume will be a little lower than a traditional gig, rude words will be avoided, and the venue provides seating.

At Heath Street Baptist Church. See map and get directions.

2 pm Acoustic event.

Malcolm Galloway and Mark Gatland from Hats Off Gentlemen It's Adequate perform an acoustic set of some of their favourite songs relating to childhood from musicals / rock operas (including Chess and Matilda), and by Marillion, Pink Floyd, The Beatles and Tori Amos. Malcolm will be playing piano rather than guitar in this stripped back set.

3 pm Hats Off Gentlemen It's Adequate

Electric prog rock duo set including songs from their critically acclaimed albums When The Kill Code Fails and Broken But Still Standing.

Tickets £5 adults, £3 concessions (includes entry to both events) available here.

See the Facebook event page here.

Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult (child-care facilities not provided).

This event also aims to be dementia aware, and the organisers would like to ensure that those with dementia or other disabilities and their carers feel welcome. If you have any specific disability related needs, please them know by leaving a message via their website www.hatsoffgentlemen.com and they can explore how they can best meet them.

Given the presence of young children, it is possible that there might be more background noise than is typical at a traditional concert.

The event is organised with the kind support of Heath Street Baptist Church and Lisa Knight.

"A brilliantly perceptive and original work of art that enthralls with every listen. Taken as a whole it is an utterly immersive musical experience that will captivate and enlighten the listener, Hats Off Gentlemen Its Adequate has to be one of the most creative and innovative artists out there today."
